Modern society has seen so much change. Our jobs have literally turned us into work slaves， with sleep becoming something of a luxury and weekends simply days when we can get a decent rest. The following are some of the reasons why we need to take short trips aside from lengthy vacations.
First， not everybody can just leave his job， business， or any other obligation just to go on a lengthy vacation. Each has his own responsibility to take care of including his source of income， family， or studies. A short trip is ideal since the holidaymaker is usually only gone during the weekend， and there will be no need to file a leave of absence from work.
Secondly， short breaks present the perfect opportunity to recharge our bodies. There are times when we get so tired， drained and pissed off that we cannot solve a problem. But after getting enough rest， the solution can often pop out of nowhere. A quick weekend getaway will soothe the stresses of daily life and refresh you before your return to the urban jungle.
