You need a good command of the English language before you can apply for adegree programme at Erasmus University. In most cases, this means that you needto take a TOEFL or IELTS-test before you can make a request for admission. Inthe table below, you will find an overview of the required scores.

Exemption is possible if:
1.You are a native speaker
2.You are obtaining an International Baccalaureate with English A at Higheror Standard Level; or English B at Higher Level.
3.You are obtaining a European Baccalaureate with English as first orsecond language.
4.You have obtained their diploma(s) or went to secondary school for atleast two and a half years, in one of the following countries: Australia, Canada(with the exception of Quebec), Ireland, New Zealand, South Africa, UnitedKingdom and the United States of America.

Eleven degree programmes are conducted in the English language. Theseprogrammes have the following English-language requirements:
Knowledge of the Dutch language
In many bachelor programmes at Erasmus University the language ofinstruction is Dutch. Applicants for programmes taught in Dutch must pass theNT2-II-exam or the Colloquium Doctum to show that they have a sufficient commandof Dutch before they can start a degree programme. The NT2-II-exam is heldalmost every week.
荷兰语言知识

1. You can provide evidence that the Dutch language was a subject in thefinal examination of your secondary school;
2. You can prove that you have attended a secondary school in theNetherlands at vwo (pre-university) level for at least two and a half years.
