Erasmus University Rotterdam offers study programmes on a bachelor, masterand PhD level.
Bachelor degree (BA/BSc)
The bachelor’s degree is a three years programme ending with a bachelor’sdiploma and title of Bachelor of Arts (BA) or Bachelor of Science (BSc). Abachelor’s degree gives automatic admission to a relevant (pre-workingexperience) master’s programme in the same field, same faculty and sameuniversity.
学士学位是一个三年制项目，完成的时候可以拿到学士文凭和文科学士头衔(理科学士头衔)。持有学士学位会自动进入相同专业、相同学院和相同大学的相关(预备工作经历)硕士项目。
Master degree (MA/MSc)
The master’s degree is mostly a one-year programme after which a Master ofArts (MA) or Master of Science (MSc) degree is obtained.
硕士学位大部分都是一年制项目，完成的时候颁发文科硕士或理科硕士学位证书。
Medicine
Although Medicine has recently adopted the bachelor-master-structure, theprogramme still adheres to the former curriculum. After obtaining the bachelor’sdegree, students proceed to the three-year master programme. The last two yearsof the master’s programme consist of an internship at the end of which the finaldegree in medicine (MD) is awarded. Thereafter, medical specialisation takes anadditional 3 or 4 years (general practitioner or specialist). Only a fewexcellent students are selected for the specialist programmes because there is alimited number of places available. Admission to specialist trainings is nothandled by the university.

Doctorate degree (PhD)
The highest title conferred by a Dutch university is Doctor (dr.). Anyonewho has obtained an MA/MSc degree is in principle eligible to proceed to adoctorate (PhD). The doctorate candidate undertakes academic research andpublishes the results in a dissertation which must then be defended at a publicceremony. For a doctorate one needs to find oneself a supervising professor(promotor). Please note that “doctoraal” (graduate certificate/Master) is not tobe confused with “doctoraat” (PhD).
博士学位
博士学位是荷兰大学授予的最高头衔。获得硕士学位的学生一般都有资格进入博士学习。博士候选人从事学术研究，以专题论文形式发布研究成果，并在公共仪式上进行答辩。博士研究要求学生自己找指导教授。Doctoraal(研究所/硕士证书)不等同于doctoraat(博士学位)。
