横滨国立大学奖学金如何申请

There are seven types of Japanese Government (Monbukagakusho: MEXT)Scholarships available for international students: those for “ResearchStudents”, “Teacher Training Students”, “Japanese Studies Students”,“Undergraduate Students”, “College of Technology Students”, “Special TrainingStudents” and “Young Leaders Program students”. These students are selected inone of the following three ways: “Embassy Recommendation”, “UniversityRecommendation” and “Domestic Selection”.
日本政府奖学金有七种可供国际学生申请，即研究型学生奖学金、师范类学生奖学金、日语学习学生奖学金、本科生奖学金、技术学院学生奖学金、专门培训学生奖学金、青年领导项目学生奖学金。这些学生按以下一种方式进行筛选：使馆推荐、大学推荐和国内筛选。

Research Student (Embassy Recommendation)

Application for the following fiscal year (April, October) is open betweenMarch and May, and the primary screening (documentary examination, written testand interview) is conducted between June and August by the local Japaneseembassies. Those who passed the primary screening would be able to apply forissuing the “Letter of Provisional Acceptance” from the universities they wishto study at. The universities judge whether the candidates are worth acceptingor not, from their application documents. The candidates who successfullyobtained the letter of acceptance are commended to MEXT by the local Japaneseembassy through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in September. MEXT then conductsa secondary screening and selects those applicants who have found recipientuniversities as scholarship grantees.
以下财政年度申请(四月、十月)在三月到五月间开放，初次筛选(文件审查、写作考试和面试)时间为六月到八月，由当地日本使馆实施。通过初次筛选的申请人可以向他们想要学习的大学申请签发预录取通知书。大学根据申请人的文件，判断申请人时候值得录取。成功拿到预录取通知书的候选人将被当地日本使馆通过外交部推荐到文部科学省，推荐时间为九月。文部科学省随后实施第二轮筛选，选出已经找到接受奖学金的大学的申请人。
How to Apply for the “Letter of Provisional Acceptance” (For those whopassed the primary screening)
Finding Academic Advisor
Please look for suitable academic advisor(s) from the List of ProfessorsAvailable. Although not obligatory, we recommend that you contact him/her andseek his/her consent in advance.
Apply for “Letter of Provisional Acceptance”
Please send the following documents to the International Admmissions Officeby email or by post (registered express mail) by the deadline. Please state whoyou wish your academic advisor to be at the time of sending those documents.
Necessary documents are:
A copy of the certificate issued by Japanese Embassy or Consulate Generalin your country
Copies of documents with the seal of Japanese Embassy or ConsulateGeneral:

Notification of the Result
After examining your application and making the judgment, the InternationalAdmissions Office will inform you the result by email. It normally takes aroundtwo weeks if you have obtained academic advisor’s consent in advance, and aroundtwo weeks to one month if you have not obtained any consent prior to theapplication. Therefore, make sure to apply for the letter in plenty of time,considering the deadline set by the local Japanese embassies.

2.申请预录取通知书
在截止日期之前将以下文件发送或邮寄到国际招收办公室。请在发送或邮寄文件的时候说明你希望那位老师做你的学术指导。

申请表、日本政府奖学金偏好表(如果包括的话)、学习领域和学习项目、学术成绩单、推荐表、医疗证明、毕业证或学位证、论文摘要。
3.公布结果
审核申请并作出决定之前，国际招生办公室会通过邮件通知你。如果申请之前已经征得学术指导的同意，大约需要两周时间收到通知;如果申请之前未征得学术指导同意，大约需要两周到一个月的时间才收到通知。因此，确保在当地日本使馆规定的截止日期之前尽早申请预录取通知书。

Research Student (University Recommendation)
University Recommendation is a type of selection that students arerecommended to MEXT by the Japanese university which will accept you as aresearch student. It is divided into 4 categories, “General”, “Special Program”,“SATREPS” and “e-Asia”. Yokohama National University recommends students underthe two categories: “General” and “Special Program”.
大学推荐是即将录取你的大学向文部科学省推荐你的一种筛选形式。它分为四个类别：普通、特殊项目、SATREPS和e-Asia。横滨国立大学推荐两种类别的学生：普通学生和特殊项目学生。
If you wish to be recommended under the “Special Program” category, pleasevisit the website of the Graduate School of International Social Sciences andthe Graduate School of Urban Innovation for further information.
If you wish to be recommended under the “General” category, please firstlook for a suitable academic advisor from theList of Professors forInternational Students . Necessary documents must be submitted to theInternational Admissions Officefrom January 10th (Tue.) to 17th (Tue.), 2017through the academic advisor. (Application documents directly submitted by theapplicant will not be accepted.) Selected candidates are recommended to MEXTfrom the university in mid February. MEXT then conducts a screening and selectsthose applicants as scholarship grantees at the end of May.

Notification of the results
The result of university screening will be notified to applicants inmid-February, and of MEXT screening at the end of May. In both cases, theInternational Admissions Office will inform you of the result via email.
Note for Academic Advisors: please check the website of the InternationalEducation Division (internal only) , where all the necessary documents areavailable.
公布成绩
学校筛选结果于二月中旬通知申请人，文部科学省的筛选结果在五月末通知申请人。这两种结果都是由国际招生办公室通过邮件来通知。
