Enrollment Fees and Tuition
1.Tuition
If tuition amounts while a student is attending school have been revised,new tuition will be applied to that student.
Special research students and occasional students may have tuition exemptedbecause of other regulations.
2.Tuition Payment Method and Timing
Tuition is paid once for the first term and again for the second term,generally by direct debit from a bank account (the school covers any debitingfees). If this is not possible, payment may be made in cash at a Tuition PaymentDesk.
Notifications of payment are made via the Campus Networking Service(YINS-CNS) and the university website.

1)Account debit
Payment may be made by direct debit on specified dates from a bank accountin the name of the student who has submitted an account registration form.
2015 First-Term Debit Date: Monday, April 27
2015 Second-Term Debit Date: Monday, October 26

2)Payment at Tuition Payment Desks
Please pay in cash at a Tuition Payment Desk located at each campus duringthe payment period.

Kofu West Campus: Tuition Payment Desk is in the accounting division on thesecond floor of the university administration building.
The Faculty of Medicine Campus: Tuition Payment Desk is in the hospitaladministrative division on the first floor of the administration building.

3.Tuition Direct Debit Process
Any account at a national financial institution (including Japan Post Bank)is acceptable. However, students must submit bank information after confirmingthe points given below as account registration forms vary by institution.Furthermore, the specified account must be in the name of the student.
After filling all required items on the account registration form, pleasesubmit the form to the Tuition Payment Desk at the Kofu campus or the Faculty ofMedicine campus.
Please confirm that debiting has been successfully done in your bankpassbook. This charge will appear as [Tuition, University of Yamanashi] on aYamanashi Chuo Bank passbook, [same] on a Japan Post Bank passbook and insimilar formats in the passbooks of other financial institutions.
Those requiring certificates of payment should request for the same at theTuition Payment Desk of each campus on the fifth day or after in the followingmonth of the debiting date. Students will be required to present their studentIDs.
3.学费直接借记流程
(1)任何国家财机构(包括日本邮政银行)的账户都可以支付。但是，由于各个机构的账户登记表不同，学生必须在确认下列给出的几点之后，提交银行信息。此外，账户人姓名必须是学生本人姓名。

Scholarships for private international students
This is for students who are recognized as excellent students and requirefinancial assistance while they are enrolled in University.
Scholarship student will receive Scholarship from Japan Student ServicesOrganization through University. The monthly amount is 48,000yen forundergraduate and graduate students. (the year of 2016)
It is notified from each faculty of the student affairs group or the personin charge of International Student with CNS etc., in around the middle of Aprilevery year, and apply them according to the instruction of the person in chargeof each faculty.

Monbu-kagakusho (MEXT) Scholarship programs
There are two different types of governmental scholarships provided byMonbu-Kagakusho. Please note that selection procedures and requirements aredifferent.

1. Selected Oversea
Diplomatic and consular offices of the Japanese government in foreigncountries select candidates for the scholarship by examining their papers andthe results of a written test and an interview. Then they are recommended toMonbu-Kagakusho, the Japanese Ministry of Education, Science, Sports andCulture. Finally Monbu-Kagakusho selects some candidates as recipients of thescholarship.
International graduate students with excellent records can be selected ascandidates for the scholarship on the basis of exchange agreements made betweenforeign universities and the University of Yamanashi. After the University ofYamanashi recommends candidates to Monbu-Kagakusho, Monbu-Kagakusho finallyselects the recipients of the scholarship.
1.海外筛选

Self-supported students with excellent records who are enrolled in graduatecourses or are in the last year of undergraduate courses in Japan arerecommended to Monbu-Kagakusho after selection by their universities. Recipientsfor the scholarship are finally selected by Monbu-Kagakusho.
MEXT Scholarships
(Every month, the following scholarship is provided from Monbu-Kagakushovia JASSO, the Japan Student Service Organization.)
Doctor Course Students - 145,000yen per month
Master Course Students - 144,000yen per month
2.已经注册山梨大学的国际私费生的筛选
成绩优秀且注册研究生课程的自费生或大四自费生，可以在接受所在大学筛选之后，被推荐给文部科学省。奖学金获得者由文部科学省最终选出。
(以下奖学金由文部科学省每月通过日本学生服务机构向学生提供。)
博士课程学生：每月145,000 日元;
硕士课程学生：每月144,000日元。
