The aim of the student accommodation is the provision of a supportiveenvironment that helps students to succeed in their studies at Notre Dame,Broome.

Pastoral care is an important part of the Notre Dame Mission Statement. AResidential manager and Assistant live on campus to oversee the running of theaccommodation. The manager and assistant are there to offer support and guidanceto students especially those who have recently left home to study in BroomeLiving on campus, students have ready access to the campus library and computerfacilities.

Where is Notre Dame's Accommodation Located?
The Residential Halls are in the centre of the Fremantle Campus andtherefore close to all Campus facilities. The Fremantle Campus is located in thehistoric West End of Fremantle, the main port city of Western Australia, 18kilometres from Perth. It is a 'town' university and the only one of its type inAustralia. The beautiful buildings of both the Campus and the surrounding cityof Fremantle lend a distinctive character to Notre Dame. Supermarkets, cafes,restaurants, beautiful beaches and sport and recreation facilities are withinwalking distance or are easily accessible by public transport.

Rooms offered are either single or twin shared. Due to several differentfactors, residents cannot request certain rooms.

There is a lockable space available for bicycles.

Accommodation Notice Board
Student Services maintains an accommodation notice board for Notre Damestudents to advertise and seek accommodation. The accommodation service is areferral service, therefore the listings of any available rental properties havenot been inspected nor has any individual offering share opportunities beeninterviewed or police checked. Any lease negotiated between a student and alandlord or homeowner is the responsibility of the parties involved. Noaccommodation is pre-arranged or personally provided for individual students byNotre Dame. There is a link on the accommodation notice board for students toadvertise that they are seeking accommodation also.

The Student Connect Officer, located in Student Services (ND7), can provideassistance when trying to find more permanent accommodation. University of Notre Dame Australia, Sydney Campus
Notre Dame’s Sydney Campus is located on two sites, Broadway andDarlinghurst. Both sites are conveniently located near public transport, shops,cafes and the CBD.
The Broadway Site houses the Schools of Arts & Sciences, Business,Education, Law and Philosophy & Theology. It is located in the highereducation precinct of Sydney, a five-minute walk from Central Railway Station,with buses arriving on the University’s doorstep.
The Darlinghurst Site is home to the Schools of Medicine and Nursing, wherestudents undertake studies in a purpose built facility.

Our Prospective Students Office provides contacts and listings of theaccommodation providers around the Sydney city district, close to theUniversity, and within close proximity to public transport. A wide range ofoptions are available to students at any time of the year.
