The Skills Development Fund (SDF) was established in October 1979 with theprimary objective of encouraging employers to invest in skills upgrading of theworkforce. The SDF does this by offering assistance as an incentive to companiesto mount training programmes for employees.
新加坡于1979年10月设立技能发展基金，目的在于激励和资助员工更新劳动技能。该项基金主要通过对企业的资金支持，来实现员工技能培训计划。
