Joint degree or double degree
These are two possible ways to earn a degree "integrated" with a foreignuniversity. The "integrated" programme entails a inter-university degree ruledby a specific agreement between the two universities.
In case the outcome is a joint title, students are issued a single diplomasigned jointly by both institutions. Alternatively, depending on the reciprocalagreements, for the same kind of title students can also be issued with twodiplomas (double diploma mode).
In programmes that feature the issue of a double title, each of the twoinstitutions supply a separate national diploma.

The curriculum entails the attendance ofthe first two years at the University of Florence and the following years atUniversité de Paris I-Panthéon Sorbonne.

The participating academic institutions issue at the same time the twonational diploma titles, following specific reciprocal agreements that entailthe completion of an integrated curriculum of the same length as the single onesoffered by the respective countries. The entire course is offered by bothinstitutions, then on the basis of specific agreements, students participate tointernational mobility programmes on an exchange basis in order to qualify forthe issue of the double degree from the partner university.
