The scholarships will be awarded automatically – no application is requiredin the first or any subsequent years.
The scholarships will be awarded unconditionally in the first year ofstudy. You can also receive this in each subsequent year of study, subject toachieving 60% or above in the previous academic year. This excludes any years inindustry or study abroad periods.

The scholarship can be awarded in conjunction with other University ofSheffield scholarships as long as the individual does not become fully funded,for tuition fee purposes, as a result of the sum of these awards.
The scholarships will take the form of a tuition fee reduction only.
You must be self-funding and classified as overseas for tuition feepurposes.
The scholarship will not be awarded where funding is applicable from anexternal body* and there is an agreement already in place between the externalbody and the University of Sheffield to offer a tuition fee discount to thestudent.
The scholarships are for full-time and part-time students only. Studentsstudying online or via distance learning are not eligible for thescholarships.
Part-time students will receive the full value of a one year of scholarshipsplit pro rata over the duration of an equivalent single full-time academicyear.
* Government or governmental organisation – international, national orregional; research council; charity; private enterprise; or any similarorganisation.
资格条件和发放标准
(1)申请人已经参加或计划参加三门大学预修最低考试。
(2)申请人必须已经申请并且拿到谢菲尔德大学的学习名额才能申请大学预修课奖学金。
(3)对于2017年9月入学，申请人必须在2017年4月14日星期五之前申请学习名额，才能申请该奖学金。
(4)该奖学金不向将谢菲尔德大学作为保险志愿的申请人。
(5)该奖学金申请是一个单独的线上课程申请程序。从1月起，奖学金线上申请链接将通过邮件发送给所有符合资格的学生。
(6)该奖学金的发放依据是学术优秀和经济需求(经济陈述)。最终决定由学术评审小组做出。
(7)在第一学年，奖学金将无条件发放。只要前一学年成绩达到60%及以上，就可以在往后的每一学年里拿到该奖学金。企业实习和海外学习时间不算在内。这项规定适用于所有本科生课程，医学和牙医学课程除外。医学和牙医学学术只在非临床学年才能享受该奖学金。(医学的非临床学年为第一年和第二年，牙医学的非临床学年为第一年。)
(8)出于学费目的，只要学生还需要自己支付学费(即奖学金数额没有达到学费总额)，就可以同时享受谢菲尔德大学的其他奖学金。
(9)奖学金只以学费减免的形式提供。
(10)出于学费目的，学生必须为自费生，必须按海外比例支付学费。
(11)如果学生有外部机构*提供资金，如果在外部机构和谢菲尔德大学之间已经有学生学费打折协议，则不向学生发放该奖学金。
(12)该奖学金只适用于全日制学生和在职学生。线上学习和远程教育学习学生不能申请该奖学金。
(13)在职学生可以享受一年的全额奖学金，按相当于全日制一年期限的比例发放。
