1.Keele International Student Scholarship
About the Award
The Keele International Student Scholarship for undergraduate students isworth GBP2000 deducted from the cost of the annual tuition fees for the durationof your course. Students studying a three-year degree can therefore save GBP6000from the total cost of their degree studies. Last year our successful applicantscame from a variety of countries including China, India, Nigeria, South Africaand Vietnam and they applied for a diverse range of courses including BiomedicalBlood Sciences; Finance and Management; Human Rights, Globalisation and Justice;and International Relations.
Eligibility
The Scholarships are awarded to students who can demonstrate excellence inat least two of the following areas:
Academic qualifications,
English Language ability,
Understanding of the course and motivation to study at Keele,
Extra-curricular or work experience
This award is for international fee payers only and can not be combinedwith any other University funded scholarship or bursary which is intended forinternational fee paying students. In cases where an applicant is eligible formore than one award, the highest value award will be applied.
Exceptions
Please note that students studying the 5-year undergraduate degree inMedicine, the 4-year undergraduate degree in Pharmacy and the 5-yearundergraduate degree in Pharmacy are not eligible for this award.
How to apply
To apply for the KIS Scholarship you must have applied to Keele and beenoffered a place to study here. You must then complete a separate applicationform . Applications must have been received and processed before the start ofacademic year for which the application is made. KISS Scholarships cannot beawarded to students who have already started their degree at Keele.
The International Scholarships Panel, which consists of Academic andInternational Office staff, will consider applications on a monthly basis. Onlyone application may be made and any applications made after the relevantdeadline will be considered on a case by case basis. The Panel’s decision isfinal.

2.Keele Foundation Progression Bursary
About the Award
Students progressing from the International Foundation Year orInternational Degree Programme Foundation to Year One of a degree course will beautomatically awarded a £1,000 bursary for each further year of undergraduatestudy.
Eligibility
All students progressing from the International Foundation Year orInternational Degree Programme Foundation to Year One of a degree course.
This award is for international fee payers only and can not be combinedwith any other University funded scholarship or bursary which is intended forinternational fee paying students. In cases where an applicant is eligible formore than one award, the highest value award will be applied.
Exceptions
Students can apply for a Keele International Student Scholarship however ifsuccessful the total award cannot exceed £2,000 per year.
How to apply
There is no application form as this applies to all IFY and IDPstudents.

About the Award
For the highest achieving students progressing from the International YearOne programme run by Study Group there is an award of £2, 000 per year for theremainder of the degree. Winners are selected on the basis of their performancethroughout the year and particularly during the final exams.
Eligibility
Please note that this is only available to students progressing from theKeele International Study Centre to year 2 of an undergraduate degreecourse.
This award is for international fee payers only and can not be combinedwith any other University funded scholarship or bursary which is intended forinternational fee paying students. In cases where an applicant is eligible formore than one award, the highest value award will be applied.
Exceptions
Students who have repeated a year will not be eligible.
How to apply
No application form is required.

4.Early Payment Incentive

About the Award
For students enrolling in September 2017 Keele University offers an EarlyPayment Incentive for all new self-funded international fee paying students whopay their full tuition fees (first year fees for undergraduate) before the 1stSeptember. The incentive will take the form of £500 on a KeeleCard for use inall campus facilities, to pay groceries, café and restaurant meals, printing andother services across all of the shops and food outlets at Keele.
Eligibility
All new self-funded international fee paying students who pay their fulltuition fees (first year fees for undergraduate) before the 1st September.
Exceptions
This offer is not valid for students enrolling on the InternationalFoundation Year Programme or students transferring from StudyGroup. Studentsenrolled under full sponsorship or 100% scholarship cannot avail of thisincentive. Research students and students on study abroad or exchange are noteligible. If a student subsequently withdraws from the University, the incentivewill be deducted from any refund to which they are entitled.
How to apply
To get your hands on a KeeleCard pre-loaded with £500 all you have to do ispay for a year of your tuition fees before 1st September 2017. You can do thisby bank transfer or over the phone with a credit card. You will find our bankdetails in your offer letter. Please remember to include your application numberwith your payment.
