Undergraduate scholarships for international students
As an international student, you may be eligible for an undergraduatescholarship of £1500.
The scholarship will be open to you if you're coming to the University inSeptember 2017 and meet this specific criteria.
To qualify for the £1500 one-off award, you can be of any nationalityproviding you're paying the overseas fee rate and are in your first year ofundergraduate study with Plymouth University, regardless of level or programme.You must also meet one of the following academic criteria:
SQA HND students who achieve ABB in their graded units (or AB if theirparticular HND only has two graded units).
BTEC HND students who achieve a merit profile but with two or moredistinctions included in the profile.
IB students who achieve two points more than the number stated in theconditions of the offer made.
A level students who achieve 8 UCAS points more than the number stated inthe conditions of the offer made.
Applicants who are joining Year 1 of a course with Plymouth Universityafter having completed a UK foundation programme that is academically acceptedand who have achieved 10 per cent higher overall than the percentage stated inthe conditions of the offer made.
Please note that the above list represents the only qualifications whichcan be considered for these scholarships .
There is no application process for this scholarship; if you are made anoffer that meets or exceeds the academic criteria set out above, you willautomatically qualify for the award.

We offer several scholarships for international students who wish to studypostgraduate taught (PGT) degree programmes.
To be considered for one of these scholarships you must first hold aconditional offer of a place on a postgraduate taught (PGT) degree programmecommencing in September 2017. Please complete an application form and seeinformation on how to apply. If you haven’t applied to study with us yet, youneed to do this first.

Application: None required. If you meet the criteria and are made a conditional offer of aplace, we’ll inform you of the scholarship in your conditional offer letter.Once all conditions of your offer have been met and the tuition fee deposit hasbeen paid, we’ll then confirm the scholarship award and issue your unconditionaloffer letter or conformation of acceptance for studies (CAS).
Closing date for award: There’s no closing date, but in order to confirmthe scholarship we’ll need to receive all documents specified in your offerletter and you’ll need to have met all conditions of your offer. The sooner yousend us your documentation the better, as you need to allow enough time for thevisa application process in your own country (if applicable).

You must also beholding the equivalent of a UK University first class undergraduate degree in arelevant subject. See terms and conditions for details. Once all conditions ofyour offer have been met and the tuition fee deposit has been paid, we’ll thenconfirm the scholarship award and issue your unconditional offer letter orCAS.

To apply for the scholarship, you shouldhold an offer of a place on a masters course at Plymouth University and thencomplete the Gaza Scholarship form. Each scholarship will be for a fee discountof £5,000 on a masters programme at Plymouth University.

If you’ve applied for one of the MSc APPpathways listed above for September 2017 entry, we’ll automatically consider youfor this scholarship if your final transcript or marks sheet was submitted withyour application. If you meet the criteria and are made a conditional offer of aplace, we’ll inform you of the scholarship in your conditional offer letter.Once all conditions of your offer have been met and the tuition fee deposit hasbeen paid, we’ll then confirm the scholarship award and issue your unconditionaloffer letter or confirmation of acceptance for studies (CAS).
Closing date for award: There’s no closing date for the £2,500scholarships, but a decision will be made on the £5,000 scholarships before theend of July 2017. In order to confirm the scholarship we’ll need to receive alldocuments specified in your offer letter and you’ll need to have met allconditions of your offer. The sooner you send us your documentation the better,as you need to allow enough time for the visa application process in your owncountry (if applicable).

Eligibility criteria for the international office postgraduatescholarships

You’re eligible to apply for the first three scholarships listed above ifyou meet the following eligibility criteria:
You’re an international student and / or we’ve told you that you’ve beenclassed as an overseas student for fee purposes OR you’re a student from theChannel Islands and have been classed for fee purposes as such.
You hold a conditional or unconditional offer from Plymouth University forSeptember 2017 entry.
You’re coming to Plymouth University to join one of our degree programmesat postgraduate taught level.
You’re a self-funded student and not in receipt of an official government,company or any other scholarship.
You have the required grades or marks from an undergraduate degree, whichis equivalent to a UK honours degree as defined by UK NARIC. You must havesupplied us with your results in an acceptable and verifiable format, forexample if we’ve requested certified copies or original documents you mustsupply these.

Terms and conditions
You can only be in receipt of one scholarship or discount, and it’s onlyvalid for entry in the current academic year. If you’re awarded eitherscholarship two or three above, after already being offered scholarship one oranother discount, you’ll only be awarded the higher value scholarship.
Scholarships awarded can’t be deferred. If you’re offered a scholarship andwish to defer your start date, you must re-apply for the scholarship and may notbe awarded.
Award of scholarships can only be made if completed applications andsupporting documents are submitted before any deadline stipulated, and ifscholarships are still available to award at that time.
Any offer of scholarship can only be awarded once you’ve completed thescholarship application process (for scholarships two and three above), and oncePlymouth University has confirmation that your qualifications meet theeligibility criteria (for all scholarships). We’ll only confirm your scholarshipaward once all the conditions of your offer have been satisfactorily met, andyour deposit has been received. At this point we’ll issue your unconditionaloffer letter and CAS number (if applicable) and will confirm to the UK BordersAgency the amount of fees you must pay.
The scholarship value is in pounds sterling.
The scholarship, if awarded, will be deducted from the overall tuition feethat you’re liable to pay, and this will be reflected on your unconditionaloffer letter / CAS statement (the document that is your unconditional offer andmust be used when applying for your visa).
The scholarship award can’t be used as a partial deposit or tuition feepayment, or in lieu of a deposit payment.
You can only be awarded a scholarship if you’re a degree student enrolledon your course at the University – if you’re not enrolled, or if you’re anexchange student or studying only part of the postgraduate course, then youaren’t eligible, nor if you’re studying a masters programme awarded by PlymouthUniversity but delivered at a partner college, such as Greenwich School ofManagement or Schumacher College.
Plymouth University International Office Scholarship Committee’s decisionon the awarding of scholarships is final. Students may be requested to submitadditional documentation in support of their scholarship application.

(5)奖学金金额以英镑为单位;
(6)奖学金如果发放，将从你需要支付的总学费中扣除。这会在你的无条件录取通知书或接受学习确认函中得到反映;
(7)奖学金不能用作部分保证金或学费支付，也不能代替保证金支付;
(8)注册普利茅斯大学学位课程，才给予颁发奖学金;如果不注册;或者如果你是交换生或只学习部分研究生课程，你将不符合资格。在与普利茅斯大学有合作的学院(比如格林尼治管理学院或舒玛特学院)学习普利茅斯大学硕士课程的学生也不符合资格。
(9)普利茅斯大学国际办公室奖学金委员会的奖学金决定为最终决定。学生可能会需要提供额外文件，以支持他们的奖学金申请。
