If you are a Bangor Alumni then you and your immediate family(spouse/siblings/children/grandchildren) are entitled to a tuition fee discountfor any degree programmes that you choose to study at Bangor University infuture.
For any Undergraduate courses undertaken by you as a Bangor alumni or amember of your immediate family, the UK fee rate of £9,000 will be charged perannum.
For any Postgraduate courses undertaken at Bangor University by you as aBangor alumni or a member of your immediate family then you will receive a£1,000 discount off your tuition fees, in addition to any other IEC scholarshipyou or any member of your immediate family may be offered.
When applying to Bangor University please mark clearly on the applicationform that you are eligible for the Bangor Alumni Discount.

What are Chevening Scholarships?
Chevening scholarships are the UK government's global scholarshipprogramme, funded by the Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) and partnerorganisations.
The scholarships are awarded to outstanding scholars with leadershippotential.
Awards are typically for a one year Master’s degree at universities acrossthe UK.

Who can apply for a Chevening Scholarship?

Bangor University is offering talented Chinese students the opportunity toundertake a fully funded PhD programme at Bangor University, UK. Fullscholarships are available for students starting a PhD in 2017-18. With Bangor'sscholarship offer, students can apply for further funding to cover livingexpenses from China Scholarship Council (CSC).
The funded research areas are as follows:

How to apply?
Applications are now open. The deadline for applications for enrolment in2017-18 is 20 December, 2016.
Prospective PhD students are encouraged to approach individual BangorUniversity schools and supervisors with details of their proposed project
Once it has been established that the project is viable and thesupervisor(s) is able and willing to supervise the student, the student shouldsubmit a PhD application to Bangor
Applicants should mention their intention to apply for the CSC BangorScholarship in their PhD application
Students will be informed of the admission decision in March 2017.
Final admission is subject to students securing the CSC stipend. They mustapply to the CSC by 5th April 2017.
Joint PhD
This programme will also support PhD students to study at Bangor Universityfor a period of 6-12 months. Bangor University will not award a degree to jointPhD students.

(2)一旦研究计划被认定为可行，指导老师有能力并且愿意为学生提供指导，学生就应该将博士申请提交给班戈大学;
(3)申请人需要在博士申请中提出申请中国奖学金委员会班戈大学奖学金的意愿;
(4)学生在2017年3月被告知入学决定;
(5)最终决定受到学生是否能申请到中国奖学金委员会奖学金的影响。学生必须在2017年4月5日之前向中国奖学金委员会申请。
联合博士学位
联合博士学位也支持博士生在班戈大学学习，学习期限为6-12 个月。班戈大学不为联合博士学位学生授予学位。
