Language Requirements

Students taking Foundation Studies in Performance must take the IELTS Academic Test for UKVI. No other test can be accepted for this course.

Exemptions from language testing
You do not need to take an English language test if you fall into one of these categories:
1. Nationals of a majority English-speaking country who have completed full secondary-level education in one of these countries. Majority English-speaking countries include:
Antigua and Barbuda, Australia, The Bahamas, Barbados, Belize, Canada (if instruction was in English), Dominica, Grenada, Guyana, Jamaica, New Zealand, St Kitts and Nevis, St Lucia, St Vincent and the Grenadines, Trinidad and Tobago, USA, Ireland and the UK.
2. Students who hold a qualification equivalent to a UK degree or higher in one of the majority English-speaking countries listed above (excluding Canada). The University sets minimum grades for each qualification.
3. Students who hold one of the alternative qualifications accepted by UAL(shown in the document below), who are either nationals of the European Economic Area (EEA) and Switzerland, or international students who will not require a Tier 4 General Student Visa during their studies with us.

(2)持有上述主要英国国家任意一国(加拿大除外)的与英国学位同等或更高水平的学位。伦敦艺术大学对每个资格证书都有最低分数要求。
(3)持有一项得到伦敦艺术大学认可的资格证书的学生，需要有欧洲经济区国家国籍或瑞士国籍。如果是国际生，需要是不用申请四级签证就能去英国学习的学生。
